The Joy E-Vic is probably one of the best VVVW Mods on the market and is reliable. This is my second. I had a n earlier model and basically burned out the chip by unplugging the unit in the midst of a download. There are all kinds of things you can do by interfacing with a computer. On of the main advantages of this mod is that you can use it while charging it.

The eVic is the easiest vaping mod setup the Joyetech has come out with yet. The ease of use and setup is absolutely amazing. This mod almost sets itself up and the software download and setup was also easy. I would highly Recommend this product. The price is a bit high for this product but after using it I would pay this price for the quality of this product.

To be honest I don't really care about all the computer data and all that. I just want to vape. The battery power is great and inexpensive. I can adjust the power setting to suit the particular e-juice I'm vaping. Maybe I will find the data recording useful later on, but as of now I am contented with a great power source.

I could not be happier with the decision to make this purchase. I went back and forth for a couple of weeks looking at different mods, and reading reviews before finally deciding to pull the trigger on the eVic. For me, it was the fact that the manufacturer has made it possible to download upgrades for the devices firmware right from your computer. There is not another device out there that I have found with that capability. Couple this with the fact that the eVic has both 510 and EGO cone threading, and the possibilities are endless for what this mod can do. You can use nearly any carto, clearo, or RBA with the eVic. It also has a long battery life. The only con I have found so far is that if you don't turn the device off (or at least put it to sleep) when you are not using it, the battery will drain in fairly large chunks while the device is sitting idle on your dresser. As long as I make sure to cut the eVic off when I am not using it, the battery has lasted me a couple of days without needing a charge, and I am a pretty heavy vaper. I would highly recommend the eVic to anyone looking to buy a new mod.

I really like this MOD. Used it for months and the only problem I ever ran into was is would often go into sleep mode unexpectedly. It was really only a annoyance not a problem. I just gave it the five clicks in a row and I was back in business. Very durable too. Lost it outside in the dead of winter and my dog brought it back to me two days later. I just wiped it down and let it dry out for a week, due to snow covering it, and it worked fine.

I started vaping about a month ago and I was immediately drawn to the eVic due to all the bells and whistles that comes along with it. It does what it says, going up to 11 watts and includes software (that I've used a grand total of once so far, there really isn't that much to it).
In my opinion, it is just fine. But nothing overly exciting. It only goes up to 5 volts/11 watts; and I know, to new vapers that sounds super high, but depending on your coil you can get the same wattage with a simple twist battery. For example, right now I have a 1.8 ohm coil sitting on my eVic at 11 watts, and the display is telling me that 11 watts with this coil is equivalent to 4.44 volts, .36 volts LOWER than I could actually get with a twist battery, which max at 4.8. As I've continued vaping on the eVic I've found myself slowly dialing it up higher and higher as the days go on. Looking back, for the 100 dollar price tag I half wish I'd have gone with a cheaper mod with higher wattage capabilities.
Really what you're paying for here is the software, the fancy LED screen (BTW the battery level indicator is a HUGE plus and half the reason why I wanted this particular one.), and all the neat little settings that ARE NICE, yetin the end really have nothing to do whatsoever with the quality of vape you're going to be getting.
This is not a bad review. This mod does exactly what it says it does and does it well, I'm just giving my thoughts after having used it for a while. I recommend this to people who are starting out, like to vape at normal voltage/wattage settings, and don't mind putting out a little extra money for a fancy mod.

Very impressed. I normally vape on a VAMO 5 and this mod is by far much lighter. The EVic has a menu system on it that is impressive and offers a lot of customization. The Wattage tops off at 11 watts, but I knew that before purchasing and with the upgradable bios, they might be able to change that in the future. I don't plan on using the computer software to track my statistics, but think its a pretty cool tool available for people using the evic to stop smoking. Good job Joyetech! (ver 1.4)
