The CE5 eGo Clearomizer is an amazing upgrade for your vaping experience and cheap to operate.  Producing tons of flavor and great vapor, it is easy to see why this is one of the hottest products on the market right now. And now it is even better.  The CE5 now features a spring loaded post to always ensure a proper connection with the battery and includes two o-rings around the base of the clearomizer where the outer tubing is connected.  These features set this clearomizer apart from the competition.

This product performs equally as well as the Vision eGo Clearomizer (Also knows as the CE4+ or Stardust) which has been extremely popular, but includes the added benefit of a changeable head.  The new changeable head system means that the coil and wick can quickly and easily be swapped out as needed.  This drastically reduces replacement costs and makes it easy to switch from flavor to flavor.

Replacement heads other than those linked to above will NOT work in this device.  CE5 replacement heads purchased from another retailer also may not fit this device.

Everything else remains the same.  It has a clear tank and long wicks so that you can see exactly how much fluid remains, and since it was made from highly durable plastic and metal you can tell that it was built to last.

Tank holds approximately 1.6ml of E-Liquid.

Resistance Rated 2.4 Ohms at the coil.

This Cartomizer works with eGo/eGo-T/eGo-C batteries.  Does not fit 510/510-T batteries

Note - this product does NOT require a syringe to fill, simply drip e-liquid into the outer chamber to fill

Filling Instruction:

  1. Unscrew the Drip Tip from the clearomizer
  2. Fill the outer chamber with about 1.6ml of E-Liquid (Do not pour E-Liquid into the center tube, it is for airflow only)
  3. Screw the Drip Tip back on
  4. For best results wait a couple of minutes for the E-Liquid to feed to the coil before vaping

To Change the Head:

  1. Unscrew the Drip Tip from the Clearomizer
  2. Pour out any remaining liquid
  3. Unscrew the tube from the base
  4. Unscrew the head from the base
  5. Screw and new head on and reassemble

    I have several of these and they all work great. They tend to leak a little after a couple of months use, replaceable o rings would be helpful. At this price it's not a big deal.

    I previously owned a non-rebuildable CE4 that I was quite happy with and when I found the rebuilable CE5, I was excited ,but that was short lived, once I got to try one out.

    The first problem that I noticed was that it was much harder to draw through, witch led to less vapor. I took it apart to find out why.

    The pin in the very bottom (that makes the positive connection) has a very small hole at the very top that I was able to open up using a dremel tool.The pin just pulls right out of the bottom. That did not fix the problem completely. I found the positive connection on the bottom of the replaceable atomizer coil had the same problem. It comes out easily enough if you can get a fingernail or knife under it. Again I was able to fix this with the dremel tool. Now it draws much easier and puts out more vapor.

    The second problem was that I have never cared much for silica wicks, so , I replaced the wick with a ceramic Ready-Wick, bought at RBA supplies. The new wick gives you a much smoother hit and a lot better taste. I rebuilt the coil to 2 ohms using 32 guage Kanthal A1 wire.

    All of this might seem like a lot to go through, but the end result was a 10 star product that I highly recomend if all of this is within your capabilities.

    Bought a couple of these for my Ego batteries - well worth the price, and with the replaceable heads are quite inexpensive in the long run.

    Will be buying more.

    I love these tanks. they last a long time. the only thing I wish is that you could buy the o-rings for the bottom of the tanks as they do wear out over time from cleaning and putting back together. Please keep them around.

    Back before I got into bottom feeding tanks these did just fine. Can't compete with the newer tanks but for the price it couldn't hurt having these around. Keep the tank filled and get used to swirling!

  10. Faulty, Just All Around Bad

    I ordered this tank, as I have experience with dual-wick tanks in the past. I actually ordered three of them. Two were for other people. The tanks came and I was excited to get back to a tank with actual wicks. I cleaned the tank, filled it up, and primed it. I could barely draw through it! I figured it was just because it was a new tank, so I kept trying. I finally vaped a full tank and refilled it. I screwed it back onto my Kanger 1000mAh passthrough battery, which works perfectly. I pushed the button to vape, and the light blinked three times. I got nothing from it. I emptied the tank, cleaned ALL of the components, dried everything well, reassembled everything, filled the tank with fresh juice... SAME THING. I can no longer use this tank. Neither of the other people I bought identical tanks from have had a problem, and they have done the same thing. Neither of them said theirs was hard to draw from or anything. I guess I wasted money on a tank that was faulty from the start. Not going to buy another one of these. I'll suffer through airflow problems with my Kanger MT3S tanks until I can go with mods.
