The Mini eGo USB Passthrough will allow you to vape away without draining the battery of your portable device. Simply plug into any USB port then attach your favorite tank and you are ready to go. It can even be used with an Universal A/C Charger Adapter with USB Port. With a 5 foot USB cable it provides more reach than most passthroughs and it even includes the 5-click safety function to turn the passthrough on and off as needed.

I used to have a small battery as a backup but sometimes the backup wouldn't be charged. Enter the passthrough. This thing is great! It works great on computer USB and Apple USB chargers. Tried this with the standard android charger (1 amp, i think) and it only gets my tank hot and produces little vape. Get a 2 amp usb and you'll be good. Enjoy.

A lot of us vape while we're working at the computer, or while driving. The Mini eGo Passthrough is just what you need to save your batteries for times when you're not around a power source.
As mentioned, the variable voltage is no longer available, but this thing has a lot of juice per draw to it - more so than my 1000mAh eGo-T batteries. And it doesn't get weaker with time, either.
If you use BCC or BDC clearomizers, you can lay them down without consequence, but some clearomizers leak if they're not kept upright. I use Aspire BDC clearomizers and 1.8 coils, and it seems to like the passthrough just fine. I made PV holders out of PVC connectors, and have one in each car and one at the desk so they ride upright while not crimping the cord where it enters the body of the passthrough.
The biggest drawback to it is you have to get used to a completely different feel to your PV, since you don't have all that battery weight. For nine bucks, and saving my expensive batteries, I can get used to the balance point differential.
I bought several and gave a couple to friends who have similar PVs. They're very happy with theirs as well! Highly recommend!

It's not the perfect device as it's does only 4 preset voltages, but while your stock standard battery is charging this works well enough. I also picked it up to experiment with different voltages on my Kanger Protank and it enlightened me even more on the power of... well POWER! I marveled at LR version of heads, and with VV setups, resistance isn't really a factor. 1.8 Ohm heads, keep it near standard 3.7v while 2.2+ Ohm you can crank it up past 4v and not worry about cooking a head or worse, a battery.
Things that would get that 5th star:
1) twist option to dial in a voltage between 3-6v
2) Side cord mount instead of bottom, I like to keep my BCC tanks upright.
3) detachable cord so you get whatever length you want.
Overall though it's a good buy, especially for those that want to venture deeper into the esoteric possibilities of advanced vaping. :)

This thing is great if you spend a long time in one spot, like at a desk or driving. I keep one by my desk and have a usb adapter in my car cigarette lighter. I keep a CE5 atomizer on the passthru and another on a battery in my pocket, but I only have to use the battery if I'm out away from desk or car. I don't use the variable voltage a lot but it's nice to have it available. Works great with either a 2 amp charger or on my computers usb port.

This is probably THE best purchase I've made since vaping. I use it on the drive to work in the car and next to the couch when I get home. Might even get another so I don't have to keep moving it... tal about convenience! If you're thinking about it... get it. Doesnt work with some USB wall chargers, but works great with my laptop and Verizon car charger. Just a heads up!

I bought an eGo C-Twist and got this for when I am at the computer or in the car.
I actually use this most of the time. The retractable-cord version would probably be useless.

I use it with the Vivi Nova tanks.
I'll be getting another one as a backup soon!

Works as advertised. I have the Standard cord version. Requires lots of clickin to turn off because of the VV settings. Or you can just unplug it.

This is my 4th passthru in past 18 mons. All except one died with bad switches because of leaks. I think it was caused my my hot car as I leave it in all the time. Carts/tanks have became more 'civilized' and I experience very few leaks anymore so I hope this fares better and besides it's a lot cheaper!
Works great and I like the Hookah idea :)

They need to come out with a multiport USB hub that looks like a hookah and these would look awesome with clearomizers and would be a hit at any party.
