Kanger Protank 3 - 2.5ml BDC Pyrex Glassomizer
Description
The best-selling Kanger Protank just got even better with it's third version release! It's still pyrex and metal just like the Protank 1 and 2, but now with dual heating coils.
The dual heating coils at 2.0 ohms resistance work together to provide up to twice the amount of vapor output as a standard single coil unit. This allows the user to get a much stronger hit with more flavor and vapor without having to take a really long draw.
The bottom coil Kanger Protank is a top of the line clearomizer made from the best materials available. It offers the same great features and performance as other bottom coil clearomizers but with the introduction of a strong pyrex glass tank and solid stainless steel construction. The ProTank is 510 threaded and will work on 510 threaded Mods without the need for an adapter. For eGo threaded batteries and mods it is suggested that you use the included eGo thread cover to provide extra stability.
Since the KangerTech Protank is made of stainless steel plated brass and glass, it is perfect for use with abrasive liquids such as the cinnamon red hots and spearment flavored e-liquids that often cause problems by reacting with the plastics used in standard clearomizers.
Also, the bottom feed design makes the Protank great for use with thicker liquids. Since gravity helps keep the wick saturated thicker liquids (higher VG content) can be used without getting the dreaded dry/burnt hits that are common with many tanks.

How to Use your KangerTech Protank:
- To fill, turn the tank upside down and remove the threaded end cap. Fill the outer portion of the tank (avoid getting e-liquid into the center airflow tube). Screw the head and wick assembly onto the threaded end cap tightly then screw the end cap onto the tank tightly. You can now turn it rightside up and check for leaks before using.
- Gurgling or Leaking can occur if liquid gets into the center airflow tube. To clear this liquid and improve performance remove the tank from the battery and blow through the mouthpiece into a paper towel. The excess liquid will come out of the threaded end of the device. If this happens often you may need to check that all connections are screwed down tightly or replace the head and wick assembly with a new one.
- The head and wick assembly will sometimes loosen itself when the threaed end cap is unscrewed. Always check that it is screwed on tightly before replacing the threaded end cap. Not doing so could result in a leaking or non-working device.
- You should never run the tank completely dry. Doing so could result in a burnt or damaged wick and can cause leaking. Refill the tank when the liquid level reaches approximately 1/3 full
- The lifespan of replacement heads can vary quite a bit, but following the above instructions will maximize the lifespan of the coil.
- 1.7-1.9ohm - 3.1-3.3V
- 2.0-2.3ohm - 3.4-3.7V
- 2.4-2.6ohm - 3.8-4.1V
- 2.6-3.0ohm - 4.2-4.5V

Tank Great Cartomizers Terrible

This probably won't make it past the "review reviewers" who never posted my last critique of this product. Heaven forbid less gets sold but more more people make informed choices.
Bottom line is the two short shank cartomizers that come with the tank gurgle and do not work. And, in five days I have gone through 4 of my 5 replacement long shaft 1.5 ohm cartomizers because they fizzle and literally quit working with 24 to 36 hours.

What it sounds like to me is either 1: you're not letting the wick get wet enough...or 2: you have your voltage too high for a 1.5ohm head. Both of those things will cause the head to die on you very quickly. If that still doesn't fix the issue, maybe try a higher resistance.

I'm currently on a mech mod right now, but anytime I'm not using itI'm using my Protank 3. GREAT tank with good vape and good flavor. I love the dual coils.

I had big hopes for this tank. Sadly it kept letting me down. Floods, gurgles, and the draw doesn't go well with me.
Enough bad press. That said. When it runs right, it's pretty good. However it leaves a lot to be desired.

The Pro-tank 3 is a solid, very well made piece of equipment. The turning and knurling on the tip and bottom assembly alone make it worth the price. This thing is quality, and puts out pretty good vapor all things considered.
However, it feels to me like there's too much carburetion in the draw, and the tank's too big to effectively stop the air intake holes with a finger. Given the choice all over again, I'd buy the Aerotank instead.

Loving this dual coil tank. Using with iTaste vv v3. Great vape and taste. I added the AirFlow base for total draw control. Only downside is that it tends to gurgle if I'm hitting it hard. Recommend buying replacement coils when the performance dies. It rocks on a fresh coil.

I love this tank. I have been vaping for a while and I have to say that this thank is a game changer. If you add the ability to adjust the air it is amazing enough but add the dual coil and bam perfect vape.

I have been using Kanger Protanks since the first one came out. This one has the best taste and vapor production because of the 2 coils (Kanger tank wise). I love it! My first dual coil and I won't be going back. The flavor! It rules. People have issues with "gurgling" and it's an easy fix. Just don't let the amount drop to 1/3 of a tank and if it still gurgles and leaks just change out the head. Done.
