The best-selling Kanger Protank just got even better with it's third version release! It's still pyrex and metal just like the Protank 1 and 2, but now with dual heating coils.
The dual heating coils at 2.0 ohms resistance work together to provide up to twice the amount of vapor output as a standard single coil unit. This allows the user to get a much stronger hit with more flavor and vapor without having to take a really long draw.
The bottom coil Kanger Protank is a top of the line clearomizer made from the best materials available. It offers the same great features and performance as other bottom coil clearomizers but with the introduction of a strong pyrex glass tank and solid stainless steel construction. The ProTank is 510 threaded and will work on 510 threaded Mods without the need for an adapter. For eGo threaded batteries and mods it is suggested that you use the included eGo thread cover to provide extra stability.
Since the KangerTech Protank is made of stainless steel plated brass and glass, it is perfect for use with abrasive liquids such as the cinnamon red hots and spearment flavored e-liquids that often cause problems by reacting with the plastics used in standard clearomizers.
Also, the bottom feed design makes the Protank great for use with thicker liquids. Since gravity helps keep the wick saturated thicker liquids (higher VG content) can be used without getting the dreaded dry/burnt hits that are common with many tanks.
Replacement Coil Heads for this product can be found here: KangerTech Protank 3 and Aerotank Dual Coil Replacement Heads (5pk)
Replacement Coil Heads from the Protank 1 and Protank 2 are NOT compatible with the Protank 3.
Fits any 510 or eGo threaded battery. (Not recommended for use with mini/cigarette sized 510 batteries)
* This product may not work with the x6 VV 1300mAh eGo Batteries.

Overall it's a good tank. Produces great vapor and a clean taste. Takes awhile for my battery to heat it up. I'm using an ego c twist 1300 MAH. Haven't had any flooding issues. The head needs to be replaced often to keep the vaping experience where I want it to be. I suggest buying extra replacement heads.

I produces the same amount of vapor as the single coil kanger tanks, but it's warmer vape in my opinion, definitely worth a try, I'm overall very pleased!

Pretty good tank so far. Haven't had any flooding issues like I did with the Protank 2.

Overall great product, expect the greatness of Kangertech. A solid tank, dual coil not drastically noticeable from Protank 2.

I love Kanger products but I have always been a dual coil fan. This new product brings the best of both worlds together. Love it!

So far I've been satisfied with this, no complaints just yet. Good hit that feels like a cigarette, good vapor production and awesome flavor.

Ok I have been using this for almost two weeks here is what I found.
1. It has a good hit action, it does take some getting use to. Do not expect to pull it out take a hit and be the best ever, you have to get a feel for it. That said once you get down how it hits it is very close to smoking a real cigarette with good vaper produced.
I compare everything to a cigarette as I am two mouths smoke free thanks to e cigs. I want something similar to smoking with out killing me this tank is very close.
2. I have a lcd screen on my battery that tells me how many hits I take and how much charge my battery has. That said the first head lasted a week untill i could no longer get anything from it, That is about 3,500 hits, however this last replacement head lasted half that which is about 1,750 hits.
If the battery gets low with this head you need to pull out your fresh one The tank does not work well on low battery. The first two days of replacing a head is like heaven, then it starts to decrease each day, and it is frustrating. Keep the battery high and replace the head half way through the week. That works out to two heads a week or every 1,750 hits.
4. Getting the tank, when it comes you have to put the head in there are no instructions sounds easy enough right. The head screws in to the bottom plate then the plate screws into the tank. I wasted a head trying just to put it in. I have to fill the tank twice a day. i never let the tank get to low to save the head.
I would recommend this tank for anyone who wants the smoking experience in a vaping. It produces good flavor and full hits when the head is new and the head last a while. I have not found a tank head to last longer than a week and with heads some just last longer than others.
I gave it 4 stars because I wish I got the same hit On day one as at day 7. I guess that is asking a lot.
Oh yeah the glass gives the e juice a better more true flavor than plastic tanks and I prefer the metal mouth piece to plastic. What guy doesn't like metal right.
Hope this helps you make an informed choice.

I've been using this with a Vamo (which really needs to be replaced) and I like it a lot. Good draw, and immediately noticed better flavor. Construction is first class and I like the fact that standard drip tips fit the unit. The tip that comes with it is high quality, but I don't like "metal in my mouth" (Cage reference!)
It's rougher on batteries than single coil units, but that's to be expected. All in all, I like it so much that I haven't even opened the other parts from the order. Did I mention nary a drip, gurgle or leak? That has to be my favorite aspect. Well, that and the fact that I can finally put a long mod in my pocket, without worrying that the tank will break off.

Was very disappointed at first. It leaked into draw tube badly and I tried everything to get it to stop. Finally pulled all the wick out and rewicked with cotton and works fine now. Expected better !
