This is false and is based on ONE self study over a century ago - the reported results are in great doubt as to their veracity.
If it were true, then nicotine would be 2-3 times as poisonous as cyanide, which has an ingested lethal dose of 200-300 mg. Cyanogen gas is lethal at an inhaled level of about 50 mg - but to inhale that much would require that a very large amount be in the air.
The lethal dose of nicotine for an adult is now estimated to be in the range of 500-1000 mg, possibly even higher. So at 100 mg/ml, you would have to ingest/absorb/inhale over 5 ml of the base. That is not going to happen, even with very careless handling.
However, a much lower dose can cause various toxic reactions, including vomiting - and even unconsciousness if a large amount is ingested.
Also keep in mind that the lethal dose for children is much lower.
When mixing, wear liquid resistant gloves. Buy a large shallow plastic storage container and place your bottles and mixing equipment in the box. If you spill anything, it will be contained in the box and can easily be cleaned up.

MFS new nic process creates the best nic we have experienced since our start in 2010. To preserve the throat hit and have a clean, virtually odorless and tasteless nicotine has been impossible to find until now. We were using two nicotine bases to create the desired results. MFS has changed that with their new process. Incredible service. Great prices. Fantastic product.

MyFreedomSmokes has the best nicotine on the market, but the 4 - 1L bottles were poorly packaged. One of the bottles leaked about 10 ml into it's 1 plastic bag, which opened during shipping. There was nicotine throughout the box and on the peanuts. This product is lethal at 0.5 ml, so always wear gloves. The other concern is the fumes that built up in the box. They are toxic too. Luckily I opened the box in a controlled setting, but if this had been another customer who was less equipped, it could have been like opening a bomb.
