This product is a replacement base for the Kangertech Protank 2 AND 3 2.5ml BCC. It is simply a replacement base to be used if your protank base has been lost or damaged. It cannot be used without the remainder of the protank pieces found below:

Works with other bottom coil tanks

Had them threads snap off the base of my dbox puritank. This base worked to replace the original, even though it's slightly smaller than the original it threaded properly and works. Maybe it works with other bottom coil style tanks as well.

My original base cross threaded in my V2. I read on a forum and this seems to be an issue. I also read that that Kanger addressed this with additional threads. I compared the two and the new base appears to have a longer shaft with more threads. I will be using an 510/ego adapter to prevent future occurrences. Product was received on a timely basis which is why I continue to order from MFS.
