Hey guys! What's going on? This is Alex over here at My Freedom Smokes and today we're going to talk about a brand new tank we just got in. It's the iSub Apex from Innokin. Honestly, this thing, first glance, it looks very nice. I went ahead and threw it on my Coolfire IV and I'm currently using the brand new Mod Fuel E-Liquid Redstone in here, so it's going to be a higher VG. Some cool perks about this tank is that your airflow is actually going to be above, it's going to be on top, it's not going to be on the bottom. It is honestly really cool the way it works.
You also have a secondary airflow up here in the very top with the drip tip. For me personally, I prefer to have that off. I get too much of ... I get too much air if I have that open, but I do like to have my airflow on this wide open. I tried it with it a little bit more shut and I just didn't feel like I get as much flavor when it's shut like this. Very powerful. I've got it running at 30 watts right now. I have been testing it for the past few days and I really haven't gotten a dry hit, so that's always a perk.
The replacement heads that come with this look just like your standard iSub replacement head. These are vertical coils. It comes with 2.5 coils in the box, one installed in the tank and one extra. To change out your replacement heads, it's just as easy as unscrewing the tank from your battery. Take the bottom part right here off, like so, and you're able to take out your replacement head like that. Now, when installing your replacement heads, just like the other iSub tanks, these are etched off and grooved, that way they do fit into the tank. It kind of fits like a puzzle, so you're going to have to kind of wiggle it around, get it to where it fits snugly in there. Then you're going to put your base back on. Make sure and tighten it up real good to prevent any leaking, and that's how you're going to refill this tank.
